My mother in laws dad passed away when she was just 12. He was funny, a teacher, farmer and all around good guy that didn’t get to see what an amazing family he created. He would have been proud and I have no doubt loved his great grandkids.
This tie was something she found in her moms boxes after they moved her to a care facility. The pieces of our loved ones history and memory are the only connection our future family members have. Just because they’re no longer with us doesn’t mean we stop loving them, talking about them and celebrating their life.
Sometimes we celebrate them by recreating their bullshit tie. I would have liked this guy, for sure.

Each of our products are made from wood with some live-edges which has natural imperfections like knots, rough edges, and may have distressed paint. We do not consider these defects. Each wood frame absorbs our stain differently.
